Hello. Nice to Meet You!

Who am I? Oh you know, your typical twenty-something-year-old trying to figure out life. I mean aren’t we all just trying to figure it out?

How many of you know the feeling of waking up, buttoning your shirt, driving in mind-numbing traffic, sitting at a desk for 8 hours, getting back home, going to sleep, and then repeating this cycle over and over? Why am I asking you so many questions? Haha, cause I’ve wondered if I’m the only one who feels this way.

I want to find something in this life that I can wake up and feel excited. I want to feel passion and excitement. Now, with that said, I woke up one morning and said I wanted to start my own blog. Honestly, because why not? I can freely share who I am with whoever is willing to give me their attention, I can maybe help someone someday, and it will provide me with an outlet to express my creativity.

K. I promise, I’m taking my negative pants off and I’m drinking that positivi-tea! So new friends, let’s get to know each other.

Here are some Q&As to answer some fun stuff about me:

Q: Are you named after anyone?

A: Negative, ghost rider. HOWEVER, my name was supposed to be Vanessa but last minute my parents decided on Cynthia.

Q: When was the last time you cried?

A: Probably an hour ago when watching a movie. Seriously, I will cry when anything that’s played on TV…a show, the news, a movie, a commercial…

Q: Do you have kids?

A: Of a human child, no. I am a proud dog mom and I consider her my baby (even though she’s old but I refuse to let her know her true age).

Q: If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?

A: Hm, that’s deep. Can I be my dog? I’d love to know what she thinks! For real, can I be her?

Q: Do you use sarcasm a lot?

A: Does a bear sh*t in the woods? I’m sarcastic and sometimes I don’t know how to turn it off. Get used to it.

Q: What’s the first thing you notice about people?

A: I’m a people watcher (sounds creepier than it is, really). I’ve seen loads of different faces and styles but what jumps out at me is someone’s energy. I can pick up on their mood and a lot of personality traits. I’ll try to find an energy that’s similar to mine before confronting someone.

Q: What is your eye color?

A: As someone once told me: “Wow! Your eyes are like the inside of a log.” Never knew if that was good or bad, but hey I’ll take it. In case you still don’t know, they’re brown. Plain ol’ brown.

Q: Scary movie or happy endings?

A: Either way I’ll be crying. Def happy ending though. Nothing like a happy cry!

Q: Favorite smells?

A: Coco Chanel Mademoiselle, freshly cut grass, the air right before it rains, and freshly washed sheets. Mmm

Q: What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home?

A: 5,179 miles. Miami to Rome

Q: Do you have any special talents?

A: I can lick my nose. Fascinating, I know.

Q: Where were you born?

A: I was born in New Jersey, raised in Miami. Two different worlds but both are home!

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Is Netflix a hobby? If yes, then that. If not, I also like to make my own shirts and mugs using my Cricut Explore Air

Q: Do you have any siblings?

A: Yup! One older sister. She’s awesome ♥♥

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

A: Hmm…umm…uhh…When I get there I’ll let you know. As of now, I have no clue.

Q: Funniest moment throughout School?

A: Let’s go with embarrassing cause it’s hilarious now. Imagine it. Sixth grade, your a quiet kid, you don’t really know many people and you decide you want to run for student body president. That’s what I did, I figured it would make me popular. Little did I know. So I missed the memo that we will be giving our speeches at a school assembly in front of the entire grade. It was a pretty big school so there were at least a few hundred kids. I was nervous and totally forgot that we had to give our speech. So I just listened to what the other kids said and winged it. It was going great and then out of nowhere, life was like “nah, forget how to talk” so I was going to finish off my speech with “…and I’ll help make this a fun year!” but instead what came out was ” …and I’ll help make fun of you!” For the briefest moment in time in space, there wasn’t a sound and I just kind of stood there like a deer in the headlights and then giggling began. I walked off the stage and a teacher just patted my back and said: “it’s okay dear, there’s always next year.” Super mortifying at the time. Super hilarious now.

Q: How many countries have you visited?

A: 9. USA (traveled to multiple states), Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Spain, Italy, France, Spain, and U.K. Most I went to as a kid but I would love to go to each again and capture new moments.

Q: What was your favorite/worst subject in High School?

A: Best: TV Production. Yes, I was an A/V nerd AND WHAT? Worst: Math. Not a math person.

Q: Who are some of your favorite YouTubers?

A: My absolute must watch are Kathleen Lights, Zoella, and the Super Carlin Brothers

Q: How would you describe your fashion sense?

A: I’d say nerdy chic.

Annnnd that’s me! Answer some of these in the comments so I can get to know you too!!

xo!
